Dejah Harley, LPC, MA
Growing up, I was often told I was “too sensitive” or “overly emotional”, and I felt immense pressure to suppress those parts of myself. Today, I am deeply empowered by my sensitivity and emotional depth. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate anxiety, depression, loss, conflicts in relationships, eating disorders, and trauma. I’ve experienced the struggle of moving through cycles of shame and guilt, and the difficulty of reevaluating relationships and everything you thought you knew about your life. I also understand what it feels like to suffer in isolation, terrified to share your struggles for fear of being misunderstood, rejected, or shamed.
My approach to therapy is relational, person-centered, trauma-informed, and pulls from Emotion Focused, Somatic, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also believe it’s extremely important to consider the profound impact that existing with a marginalized identity has on our mental health. I operate under a lens that constantly considers the ways that systemic oppression and intergenerational trauma continues to impact our mental health.
I recognize that starting therapy often feels scary and overwhelming. That is why I value meeting people where they are, without judgment.

My goal is to create a safe space for you to rediscover your intuition, gain awareness, explore, process, improve communication, and develop new coping skills. It is truly an honor to be with you on this journey!
